- Understanding which A3 format is best for your business.
A3s were introduced by Toyota as a mechanism for the leader of a process initiative to walk around, engage stakeholders and update findings as they came to light.
Originally they were written in pencil – with an eraser close to hand!
The Claims Division of the TAC has been gradually developing competency in continuous improvement over the past 3 years.
Linda Carr, Manager, Business Process Optimisation at TAC will describe how A3s are used for two key purposes;
- To aid learning of the TAC continuous improvement methodology and
- For stakeholder discussions.
